Description
Wild rose fruit is the fruit of the wild rose. Wild roses also have berries, but they are not the same as the wild species and are not consumed. The fruits are usually red, but there are also some species with orange fruits. The fruit ripens in late autumn. Although they are described as fruit, they are not consumed like ordinary fruit. They are steeped in boiling water to produce a delicious tea with medicinal properties.
